Quenton is the Founder of Carter & Associates, continuing his family's industry leadership.


Following 30-year career in the domestic fresh produce trade, Quenton established QC-Fresh Pty Ltd, now Carter & Associates, to focus on international export.


Quenton has proudly partnered with Australian growers to serve customers throughout the world for almost 20 years.

James McNamara

General Manager

 

James has more than 15 years' corporate advisory and management experience gained with consulting, funds management and mining companies.


Prior to joining the family business, James held director roles in investment banking, investor relations and corporate affairs.


James holds undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in finance and communication.

 

Ricardo Joachim

Senior Export Trader

 

Ricardo brings over 15 years of extensive expertise in the export of fruit and vegetables, with deep knowledge of the organic industry. His career spans various roles within the fresh produce value chain.


Prior to his tenure at Carter & Associates, Ricardo served as a prominent trader at an international export company in the Sydney Markets.


He is a fresh produce specialist and holds certification as an Authorised Officer by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Stubbing

Andrew has 15 years' experience gained within the FMCG sector, with more than 12 years in fresh produce.


Focused on sales performance, quality control and relationship management, Andrew has held both imports and exports roles in the New Zealand market.


Andrew holds a Diploma in Business from the Auckland University of Technology.

Harvest, sort, and pack fruit and vegetables at orchards and farms.

Cold Treatment Preparation

Prepare produce for cold treatment, if required.

Transportation

Transport packed produce to departure port.

Cold Treatment

Subject designated produce to cold treatment.

Inspection

Conduct agricultural quarantine inspection.

Loading & Shipping

Load produce onto vessels for shipping.

Transit

Ship produce from departure port.

Customs Clearance

Upon arrival at the port, produce undergoes customs clearance procedures.

Arrival Inspection

Undertake further inspection as required to ensure compliance with import regulations.

Delivery or Collection

Customer receives produce at agreed location.
